Why not give money directly to an organization? Donating money to a volunteer is to support people who, like me, want to help on site. Help to me, is a direct way to help the Haitians, and particularly those to whom my mission will be closer to. It is also a way of knowing exactly where the donated money is going. And knowing with absolute certainty that it will be used responsibly, and to serve only the costs of this mission.
